Jane Flint

I make ceramic sculptures that explore the quiet intensity of human connection; with animals, with myth, and with the inner self. I’m drawn to moments of stillness and intimacy, where imagined worlds feel emotionally real.

My figures often wear animal masks or are closely entwined with animals, not as decoration, but as companions, or extensions of the self. This closeness invites questions about identity, instinct, and transformation. I work with texture, gesture, and surface to evoke a sense of time and emotion, each piece carrying its own quiet story, as though unearthed from a forgotten fable.
